The TOPA series of spherical roller bearing housings is suitable for shaft diameters of 50 to 320 mm. It is an optimised variation of the traditional one piece DTIl style of bearing housing. It retains the original’s overall dimensions for interchangeability but the casting has been redesigned to improve castability and reduce weight without sacrificina anv strenath.The horizontally split casting has a more uniform wall thickness and areater contact area for bearina seatina which improves its ability to dissipate bearing heat.The DTIl’s seal housings have also been eliminated to simplify and shorten housing installation time.
